Lightning Image Shot In IR

I have been wanting to try and capture a lightning bolt with my IR converted D70s.  I shot about 300 images this afternoon, all handheld, and this is the only one I got.

2009 Storm Chasing Season

The 2009 storm chasing season is officially upon me.  I got my first lightning images this afternoon and evening.

I am really excited, this really is my favorite subject for photography.
