I have been looking at this fountain in downtown Chandler, AZ for a couple months now. I want to take some images of it at a slow shutter speed to get that “silky” water falling from the fountain at night. The fountain in pretty well lit, and it is in a quiet area, perfect for night photography.
Last night, the wife and I decided to head over and take some shots. We got there and had the area to ourselves, being Thanksgiving evening didn’t hurt. I spent about 15 minutes getting my gear setup, and was just ready to take my first exposure test image when the fountain turned itself off for the evening. I went ahead and took that single image, and then went home to watch TV.
