Do you actually make prints?

I have been thinking about what photography is really all about in the digital world. What keeps coming back to me is the idea that very few people actually print their work any longer.  I recently posted a picture of Spokane, WA that I have hanging in my living room.

This shot of C-130 aircraft taken at AMARC in Tucson, AZ hangs in my office. It might not be the technically perfect shot, or fine art, but I like it, and I enjoy seeing it on the wall.

I would strongly suggest that you take a few of your favorite shots and have them printed. It is cheap, but it really adds a personal touch to your living space.

The Boneyard

I was driving by AMARC, (The USAF Boneyard here in Tucson) and out of the corner of my eye I saw something that I thought might make a decent picture. I went back tonight before sunset and grabbed a few shots.

I am not sure if they are how I saw them in my minds eye, but all in all I am pretty happy with them. They are of C-130 cargo plans in long term storage. If you look closely, you can even see an A-10 or two in the distance.

Scott's little corner of the internet exists mostly for sharing my photography, but there will also be occasional rants, incoherent thoughts and the more often than not poor spelling!!!!
