The last week of 2010 was a pretty good one for Arizona when it comes to weather. Even though it waited until just after Christmas Day, this is about as close as we will come to having a “White Christmas” here in the desert. There were flurries in parts of the Phoenix metro area and some accumulation as you got further out of the city and into somewhat higher elevations.
This image was taken on Dec. 30th 2010 and is a 7 image HDR captured just a little to the northeast of Fountain Hills, AZ. I have a few more weather images that will get processed and put into my 2010 weather gallery.
